Deployment Services is part of the Global Support and Deployment Services
organization and is focused on delivering world-class services to help our
customers maximize value of DellEMC Storage- Data Protection and Converged
Solutions. Our service portfolio consists of implementation (design &
planning- installation & implementation- configuration & integration- upgrade
& expansion)- data migration and residency services. Our key objectives are
driving world-class customer experience- industry-leading team member
experience and services growth- as well as contributing to the financial
success of Dell Technologies with profitable services revenue.
The role of the Project Manager is to work with external clients/customers to
monitor projects from initiation through to delivery- and ensure technica
compatibility for the various accounts. Also- organizing interdepartmenta
activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budge
Responsible for the delivery of projects with low complexity and low risk- the delivery of the standard project plan with some supervision (if needed) and coordinates standard project plans- delivers against standard statements of work (SOW)
Prepares- maintains and submits clear and concise activity progress reports and time recording/management reports to customers- management and sales in accordance with published procedures
Ensures system based project closure- controls financial compliance and provides input for weekly revenue forecast- and ultimately driving customer satisfaction in order to achieve Total Customer Experience (TCE)
Makes management aware of potential issues or customer escalations and is the point of contact during the project for all aspects of the engagement- ensuring transparency by regularly communicating project status to the project team and customer
Understands how Dell Solutions and Dell Services business can provide additional benefit to the customer
Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience in similar roles
Experience of delivering technology-related projects
Self-motivated with a good ability to work independently
Good interpersonal and organization skills
PMP Certification strongly preferred.
Experience within the technology field – either academically or professionally.
